Just started watching Veronica Mars. Love it!

Kristen Bell is so amazing.
“In this age of dangerous school bullying, you have sent an important message: If you think someone is weird, you should criticize them as much as possible.”

Yeah, that guy’s hot.
Ryan Kwanten, from Jason Stackhouse True Blood fame, is going to be Jess’ one night stand on an upcoming episode of New Girl. It will be weird to see Ryan without a southern accent. Hopefully his character has one, or else I’m going to have to watch seasons 1-2 of True Blood, before it got weird with faeries and werewolves and shit. I know those people are mondo attractivo, but how is that show still on?! Anyways, I hope Sookie and Vampire Bill are together. I’m always a champion for the soul mate-like connection.
YAY New Girl!

I can’t believe St. Vincent, our beloved Annie Clark is going to be on Gossip Girl. It was cool enough when they got Lady Gaga and Lizzie Mcguire to be on their show, but this is just way too cool.
The episode featuring St. Vincent is going to air February 13, the Valentine’s day episode. I have to be honest: I haven’t been watching Gossip Girl. I should just turn in my life card right now. I turned away from Gossip Girl during… season 4 I believe. When Georgina was conning Dan into raising her baby that he thought was his… it was a little weird and far-fetched. Even for GG. +1 for Kristen Bell being Gossip Girl though. She is SO EFFING COOL.

Now I hear Blair got a royal wedding and maybe, probably something dramatic happened there as well. You’d think they’d chill out and sit down once in a while and watch Netflix. But that would be boring television. Plus they need to show off their fabulous wardrobes. The stylist on that show is beyond fabulous.
St. Vincent will be playing her songs “Cruel” and “Cheerleader” off her latest album Strange Mercy. The album is awesome, and I bought tickets last weekend for her spring tour which I am mondo excited for. Plus they were only 20 bucks. Annie knows we are living on a 20something poor and fabulous budget. She is a queen.
She will also be on an upcoming episode of the brilliant Portlandia, where “the dream of the 90s is alive in Portland.”
Yay for Annie!!!!!!!

Ugh, the Grammys. They may be the absolute worst awards ceremony ever, due to it being more of a popularity contest than a talent contest. Except for that one time Arcade Fire awesomely won Album of the Year, sending Twitter Bieber fans into a tween-high-fructose-corn-syrup rage.

Anyways, Midwest faves Bon Iver are nominated for 4 awards including Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Alternative Album. It’s always exciting to be nominated for things. Plus, my friend has hung out in Justin Vernon’s kitchen, and has petted his cat. Yep, I’m connected.
Also, it’s fun to root for anyone who wasn’t fist-pumped to on last season’s Jersey Shore.
Here’s a commercial promoting the 54th Grammys using Bon Iver’s “Holocene” to some aesthetically pleasing leaves, trees and wind.

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! A resounding cheer of joy is heard around the world as we learn that the whole cast of Arrested Development is confirmed for the new season. That means Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Jeffrey Tambor, David Cross, Michael Cera, Portia De Rossi, Tony Hale, Alia Shawkat and Jessica Walter.
Writer Dean Lorey tells us via his blog that the new season of AD will premiere sometime in 2013 with 10 episodes exclusively airing on Netflix.
“We’re really doing this thing. Mitch Hurwitz, Jim Vallely and I are off writing the new season of ARRESTED to premiere on Netflix in 2013. The original cast is back. There are offices and parking spaces. We’re shooting this year. I wish I could give more specifics but, for the moment, even the schedule is being kept under wraps. But it’s happening and it’s great to be back with my pals from the show. More later as it becomes okay to release further details…”
The new season of Arrested Development will act as a sort of gateway into the movie that will follow the end of the upcoming season. I can’t wait to see what the Bluths have been up to for the past 7-8 years, because I’m betting they’ve gotten into some pretty weird shit.
YESSSSS!!!!!!!!!!

I first was made aware of Party Down in early 2011. If you have Netflix and have yet to see this show, it is an absolute must.
It follows the lives of caterers in Hollywood, all hoping to make it big someday, but stuck waiting at crazy events. The show, insanely, got cancelled after only two seasons on Starz. However, the show was so popular among fans (despite getting axed) that a movie is said to be in the works, a la Arrested Development.
Our fave Adam Scott, who you may know as the amazing Ben Wyatt on Parks and Recreation, plays Henry Pollard in Party Down which is, in my humble opinion, Scott’s best character to date.
Other stars of the show are Jane Lynch before she was stolen to be on Glee, Lizzy Caplan, Ken Marino, Ryan Hansen, Martin Starr and Megan Mullally.
The show was created and written mostly by, John Enbom, Dan Etheridge, Paul Rudd (!!!!!) and Rob Thomas. John Enbom is said to be working on the movie script as we type this. YAY!!!

I miss TRL! Something to run home to after the bus dropped you off and dance your afternoon away!
We’ve all seen the ‘Shit someone Says’ videos, which are mostly hilarious and very true. Now comes the motherload of all motherloads: “Shit Liz Lemon Says” CLICK THE LINK to CHECK IT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
